Motive 3.73's & Auburn differential
I recently ordered an Auburn LSD and some Motive Gear 3.73's. The gears have come in but the differential has not. I mention this because I ran across a couple of web shops that sell the Motive 3.73' and state that they require a special cross shaft that does not fit the Auburn carrier. Does anyone here have the Motive 3.73' AND an Auburn Higher performance or Pro series differential and if so where there any install problems? I searched the internet and even sent out an email or two and have not gotten a definitive answer as to whether or not the Auburn I ordered will work with Motive 3.73's. I'm hoping that it was an older style Auburn that was being referred to. The easiest way to find out if I have to send back the Motives or the Auburn is to find out if someone else had both installed without any problems.
Here's for hoping. Thanks for any help.

You'll be the second one I know of to have that combo. My installer didn't have any problems with it... though, you need the installer kit for the gears.
You're gonna dig 'em! The Auburn locks up so nicely and the 3.73's are a kick off the line.
If you really want to make sure, call up Travis at Fast Specialties... he did my install.

I bought the Auburn Pro, I plan on doing some serious mods next spring. I paid $444 at nationaldrivetrain.com. Hopefully I'll get it within the next couple of days.
