you are gonna have to do more than "chirp" the tires on dry pavement to see if you have an LSD or not.

not true, the tire with the lesser traction will spin, put the left tire in the dirt, the same results will follow

it just so happens through powerflow, typically the right is the one that spins, but believe it or not, you sitting in the driverseat has a lot to do with it, your weight on the left side of the car is enough to put more traction to the left side, therfore you get a right wheel burnout, get that right tire with more tracktion adn your left tire will spin instead

put the car on the hoist, hold the left tire, and spin the right, it will spin alright, now hold the right and spin the left, it will spin alright also.. dont hold any tire, and spin one of them, the other tire will spin in the other direction because of the gears in the differential

with an open diff, as long as both tires have identical traction issues, youll get a 2 wheel burnout

just do a little burnout, its not gonna hurt the tires if you do it once.

lol... there is no way he can possibly burn those tires. on dry pavement. there high-performance street tires and look how wide they are. unless ur turning or its wet no way! just ask the person you bought it from. DUR!!!

easiest way in auto:
left foot: apply brake
right foot: push petal for a few seconds

you will know, and a few seconds wont hurt your tires much.

and min will spin both tires if you spin while accelerating for some reason. like going up my driveway in first if i floor itit goes up to 3500 rpms, and BOTH tires spin leaving two nice marks, and if i flloor it on a dirt road,both spin

I bought it from a dealer.
And it will be very hard to burn out on my Nito's. My rear tires are 10.5 wide! If I don't have an LSD it will be very hard, but if I do it can be done. I'm just gonna have to raise the back like you guys said.

Take your hose, wet down a patch of street in front of your house, have someone watch you, apply foot to brake, apply other foot to gas, get the tires to spin, if they both spin you have the LSD. Using the water to reduce friction will keep you from losing rubber, you only need to do this for a couple seconds, once one tire is spinning and the other isnt you know you dont have the lsd.
