How can I tell if I have a LSD?

How can I tell if I have a LSD?
Well I bought my car used it was lowered, and rims+tires were on it and some minor apperance mods were done, but I do not know if my differential is a stock one or an LSD. Anybody have any ideas how I can tell? A buddy of mine jokingly said to burn out and to see if I leave two tire tracks vs one. Is there an easier way I can do this w/o hurting my tire life and won't cost me a pretty penny?
Also, Are 4.10 Gears too much on our stock Rear end? I have an Auto btw.

Jack the rear end of the car off of the ground and turn one of the wheels forward....if both of the wheels rotate forward then you have a lsd, if not then it is an open diff.

or put the right tire in loose gravel and the left tire on smooth road, give it gas, if the car doesnt go anywhere really, u have an open diff, if it makes its way forward then u have lsd

lol well dont get crazy, do a quick spin. Or dirt, doesnt have to be gravel, just anything to expose the weakness of the right wheel havin no traction.
