The stripes are easy to remove, apply some heat (hair dryer) and they peel right off.

Mineral grey is a tough color to stripe because in certain lighting it can look almost brown. I seem to recall seeing some pics of mineral grey with satin silver stripes that looked good, but it's hard to judge based on pictures. I'm an architect and we are always dealing with these types of color matching issues, what you need to do is contact a company that sells vinyl stripe kits and get them to send you color swatches of the colors you are considering. Lay them on your car and evaluate them. Look at them in different lighting conditions. This is the only way to know for sure!

Have you seen the Gray Ford GT with the silver stripes? I LOVE that combo. It's kind of subtle, but I think the two shades of silver look good together.
