I think they are right, if you lower it it will kill that gap which is what I think is causing me the dislike...lowering it will even it out and also eliminate the gap...a good set of lowering springs should run in the high $100's to mid $200's (so I hear)

Nice first car....So far you are doing great with it. Enjoy it, take your time with it and definitely shop around...check out these forums as there is a wealth of information on what to buy, where to buy it from and why...

Stang4yoass,

Those rims look sharp! 20's are usually a little too big for my taste, but that simple style looks good (sporty and classy rather than the gaudy "bling bling" 20's i'm used to seeing).

Lowering would definitely be a good idea. I got my Steeda springs for about $200 -- the big expense was having them installed. Between installing the new springs and aligning everything i paid about $300. When all is said and done, I think that estimate of $550 is not too far off. If you can do the work yourself (or have a friend who can hook you up), that will save you a lot of money.

Keep in mind that if you go to aftermarket springs, you will eventually want to swap out your shocks/struts (most lowering springs recommend replacing the stock shocks/struts within 12 or 15 thousand miles) -- that's easily another 500-700 bucks plus installation costs down the road...

Lookin' good!
-Tim

Once you said truck world I knew you had to live in florida, and thats alot for springs is that installed? The most common lowering springs are the Eibach Pro kit and there only $239
heres the link just scroll down and youll see them for the 2005 Mustang V6. It would definetly give it a better stance and look once you lower it!
