Default new exaust set-up

Just dropped my car in to have my new exaust parts put on. Its going to be a tight fit, i bought two mrts, two 28" glass packs, two cut-outs, and an x-pipe. They said they wouldnt install the cut-outs so ill have to do that by myself. Labor is $200. Im making before and after clips to see the sound difference and ill post them. Right now ive just got straight 2 1/4" pipes with flowmasters. Should sound a lot better, eh?

Definetely tell me how it sounds, and tell me if it drones, cause I have dual MRTs and I have resonators in my closet waiting to be installed, just want to know if that will help at all. But that should be a awesome setup!

just a quick question...I was thinking about getting glass packs....do you typically have to put another muffler on after the glass packs? I thought glass packs were a type of muffler.

just curious before I get my hopes up for my own custom exhaust

I think the glass packs are technically a muffler, but they arnt that restrictive so it doesnt hurt. I should have the sound clips done by tomorrow. It sounds a lot better, and its actually quieter on the inside. no drone either. The guy who installed it said it sounded sort of exotic, although i havnt heard it from outside the car yet.

Just waiting for the video to upload to the internet. Glasspacks are just about broken in and there is no drone! Thought i was going to go deaf with those flowmasters! In the car its hardly louder than stock (just sounds meaner) but on the outside its perfect, in my opinion. My throttle response is also better. In the video my rpms get to about 4.5k and it doesnt get all high pitched like it did with my other mufflers. Maybe a tiny bit of low end loss but it definately makes up for it after 2.5k rpm.

Video should be done in 15 min or so.

You'll like the cutouts when you get them installed. Very throaty and loud.
