Default Another HURST Shifter Install

It was quite easy, like you all said,about 1 hour.
Jacked up the front end and went without trouble, the new shifter fell right in . Had to pry the old one out alittle ,not much, and out it came.
I will post a picture once Im done modifying the billet bezel I had made and installed before the shifter change. I would like to reinstall it with the leathe boot I had . I had alot of shifter ***** with the OEM threads I had to modified to fit the old shifter, so I made some threaded bushing on the lathe to fit the new HURST- from 12m x 1.25 to 3/8 -16. So I can go all black, all white , chrome, 8 ball ( my favorite, Iwas using) or the HURST white.
I also made shorter shifter sticks in case I did not like the HURST one but it looks great with ball and all.
The throw and smoothness is unbelievable, believe me when I say that its the best 185.00 bucks I spent. I got it thru SPEED UNLIMITED on eBay. 177.00 plus 8.00 shipping . Got it in three days.
It looks great, shifts even better, and it belongs there.

SWEEEEEETTT!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

@fazm

I'm one who's trying them both. I'll let you know when I get the Hurst from FlyBoy06. I like the Steeda for the shorter throw, but I have to admit it's a bit stiffer than the original. No big deal for me... but the wifey doesn't like it.
