Default Which programmed TUNE can i use?

i have a diablo predator and had several custom tunes made for me from diablo. i live in southern california and 91 octane is the highest at the pump. i received two 91 octane tunes and a 93 octane tune. i'm running one of the 91 octane tunes right now (runs noticeably stronger now, very pleased) but i'm curious what would happen if i install the 93 tune. will that hurt my car since i can only fill up with 91 at mostt? will it even make any difference anyways? whats the specific purpose for the different octane tunes? Heplful feedback would be much appreciated. THANKS.

Methinks it's a dandy idea to stick with the tune designed for your local gas octane.

i assumed that i should stick with 91.....still, what would happen if i went to the 93 and how much of a difference does it make anyways?

It will most likely knock under load and eventually hurt your engine. You can spend exra cash and run fuel additives like Octane booster or mix your own but you would probably get only 2-3 hp at the most with 93 vs 91. All I use is 91 and very happy with performance. If you want to get extra horses and not spend too much, switch to Royal Purple oil and trnas fluid if manual. Makes a nice noticeble difference (possibly 5-7hp) and slightly better MPG.

DONT DO IT! Long use will hurt your engine. The break down is that different octanes burn at different temps and require different air to fuel ratios. If you had 93 then use the 93 tune. You will not notice any different unless you have the 93 and then again you may not notice that anyways.
