Well, as afixer already knows, some dick cut me off when I was making a left turn on an arrow and he was turning right on red. He had a huge *** truck and was moving really slow, seems like he didn't know whether or not he should go, but eventually just ended up getting in my way. So I slowly moved around this guy, thought I cleared the turn, but my left rear grabbed the curb and blew a hole in the wall.

So Tom offers me his rims for a spicey deal, I really would have jumped on it. More to meet him rather than get the replacement, but I had to jam to a friend's graduation ceremony. In any case, this would be a good time to go big.

Sometime this month, I'll be getting new rims and tires as I can't go any larger than 215/65 on 16" rims. My budget will be anywhere between $500-$800. I would LOVE to get 18"ers and maybe 245/45 or 245/50 in the rear, and 235s in the front.

So if you guys would help a brother out with some suggestions. Please post your favorite 18s or 17s along with tire sizes if you want. Also, if you know of a good website to ****** them from, feel free to share.

Contact Saleen by phone and ask for the parts dept. I was there about a week ago and was told they have 18" premium take offs from 06 GT's. These are not the Bullitts you see so often (like mine) but the new options on the GT's. You can probably get a smokin deal on a wheel/tire combo.

As BeauStang says, go to Saleen... here are the standard GT takeoffs...... $425 for 4 wheels and new Pirellis..... DOH... the Pirellis sell for $500 alone!!!

Yeah I gave them a call, but they go from 6AM to 6PM. I'll have to call on Monday.

I'm not a real fan of the bullitts, but I like the 18" fan blades, though. If they sell the fan blades, I'd be all over it.

That's a great price for those GT take-offs from Saleen. I just might think about getting them, but what's the largest size you can go with them? I'm interested in getting some 250s or so.

so many people have got bullits now, i coulda go them for 340shipped (no tires but i already have the 245/25/17's tires) but decided to go with an 18 to havea unique look. u might wanna try ebaydotcom

They do sell the 18" fan blades I was just there and saw them. Maybe in another 50k miles when I need tires I'll get some!

Fanblades, definitely. Unless I find a hawtg combo package that's within my budget.
