i just installed my KN aircharger intake on my 2006 mustang V6. i worked great and everything but the hissing sound. when you actually put some throttle into it, it makes a weird hissing noise throughout the whole gear. is this normal? this is either the way the intake sound or it is an air leak. if it is happening to anybody else please tell.

Increased air flow tends to do that... no worries... it's the sound of your new intake sucking up more air.

ARE YOU SURE BECAUSE I JUST TORE IT APART AND THE SENSOR DIDNT FIT CORRECTLY. THAT IS WHERE THE INTAKE LEAK WAS. THANK YOU A LOT FOR THE REPLY THOUGH.

normally there will be a slight hissing noise if you are nailing it, but with out cars it is hard to hear over the exhaust unless the hood is open
