with tightening the bolts its sorta part of the break in process for it, kinda the same when you get new tires you need to check the bolts every now n then after you first get them as they adjust to the different tempretures.

Iv'e never heard about the headers being tightend like that, but it wouldnt hurt to do it every so often.
