Well, got home from visiting family in NC today, and what do you know, I still have 2.5 hours of daylight left. Sweet!!!! Time to take those cheesy ass king cobra center caps off my Black Bullitts and replace them with my black tri-bar pony center caps.

So, my son helped me do it, then we wash the car and take some pics. I think they look so much better then before. Here are the results:

I have the same Caps as you, I hated the cobras so I ordered the caps from Kevin and when I got them I went to pep boys to rotate the tires and had them put the caps on at the same time, the caps go all the way in which was weird cause my cobra caps were flush with the wheel but there supposed to be like that, I got used to them and they look awesome! Way better than those friggin cobra caps! LOL! :)

Yea, I need to get the new link. The first GT grille I had was from West Coast Performance Parts, they are no more. And the second kit I got, a complete GT take off kit from Casco, they changed thier site around a bit.

I was thinking of the Tri-bar too. Mine came w/ the King Cobra's as well, but they don't look too bad w/ my color, and I don't have any Tri-Bars on my car atm. B/c of the 05 non-Pony Package, but I like it, makes it look cleaner imo.
Anyways, how much did they cost you total? I've ran across several prices.

I'll have to check my invoice, but I think they are 12-16 bucks a piece. I'll have to look and let you know. The most I have seen them for is 16 bucks. With your color scheme, you are right, the cobra's probably blend in a bit more and with your rims. With me having black rims, they stick out big time. You can also get machined ford center caps that might go better.

RYGEN,

Your car looks super, good pick on the wheels and the new caps. I plan on getting a set of GT take-offs with the dark silver centers (back in the day, we called that color ARGENT). SATIN SILVER makes either full chrome or black centers look a bit OUT THERE , the dark silver should look sharp. I will wait until I need a set of tires and then take the plunge.

LOL, yes, I remember that as well. I had the GT take off argent bullitts w/pneros. They worked well for me. They look great on our cars. You will be happy with them. And the pneros are way better than the stock bfg's our cars come with.

I looked to I dont think they make them for the Aftermarket bullits, I think they only make em for the ford racing bullits cause they have different center rings.

I haven't ever seen it, but in my head putting the chrome spinner over the powdercoat rim would really pop.....

Like I said...that is just in my head, and it could actually look like trash...its a thought though

Yep, he loves stangs. Odd enough, he loves the H1's, H2's and H3's even more. Especially the H1. He claims I will get him one when he graduates HS.
