I was thinkning of stopping in the middle of the road to get an "action shot"(not a lot of traffic up there) , but I decided I didn't want to cause a wreck.

Is that where the Donner Pass is? Where the Donner pary were trapped on their way West? I believe it was the Donner family and the Reed family both. Sad sad story. I bet it's haunted!

I don't know if it's close to Donner Pass. I'll have to check. First time in my life I've ever seen a an actual "Dead Mans Curve" sign up there. Damn now that I think of it I should have gotten a pic of that too.
