Maserati kill!
Last evening, I had some pasta for dinner. I'm pulling up to a light, and there's two guys in a mid-80s Maserati Biturbo checking out my car (one of those that looked something like a mid-80s Accord or something like that...). So, he gives it a couple of revs, and I figure, "it's on." The first light, I had the TCS on and didn't drop from any rpms; just mashed it at the green. We cut it off at about 60, where I was just short of a car length ahead of him...and that was with a sloppy 1-2 shift by me. So, the next light we pull up next to each other, the guy in the driver's seat gives me thumbs up and says, "Nice man...I didn't know that was a 6 until I saw your exhaust." ...saw my exhaust. That's what I like to hear 'em say.
Probably not the most impressive kill in the world, but how often can someone say they went up against a Maserati; even if it was an old one?!

RE: Maserati kill!
I am still waiting for my first kill. I dont like to race often as it is not good for my car. I hear ya on the shift miss hap. I hit 2nd fine, its third that gets me. For some reason I get hooked up on a gear in the middle of 1 and 3 and then back off cause I just gave the car some gas ond dont want to mess anything up.
Nice kill bud!
