Rygen & Blazen, you may have seen this already, but here's a pic of tint on black paint. This is 30%.

They didn't put felt or moleskin on mine either. I drilled them about it beforehand and they said they've done dozens of new Mustangs with no problems. They said the scratch problems may be due to poor quality tint film being used. Mine has been in for.. I'm not sure, 5 months? No problems at all, the film still looks new!

Yes blazen you need tint especially since you have a black stang I got 20% tint and it makes a pretty big difference.

Looks hot man, simaler to my tint! looks gorgeous, problem is, when u have the windows down people cant see whoes driving that bad *** car!!! i just have my windows down rain sun or in between!

If you dont have felt installed.

install it!

I heard about needing it but my installer said that you need felt for it so i said okay. I didnt care much because he gives a lifetime warranty and he will replace it for free whenever i want.

Although about a week or so later theres a huge scratch line in the tint from rolling it up and down. ON both sides

So if you are thinking about doing tint just install felt the first time.
