how much will an x charger cost when it is out? Willother mods be needed if installed? Why get one if just own a DD? Its for the track i know but is it for dd's as well? any cons to owning a device like this as far as break down issues?

It's supposed to be the safest SC out there. It won't drastically shorten your engine life. I'm hearing $3200-3500. You can install it yourself in less than a day. It's maintenance free for 100,000 miles. Self lubricated. Comes with everything. It has been used for years on Rangers and Explorers. Jeez, I sound like a commercial. I don't have any affiliation with them but i really like the X-Charger. I like the turbo too. The Vortech and ProCharger are really nice too...blah blah blah...You get the picture. Why would you want it for a DD? Power available all the time. It doesn't have to build boost with rpms like a centrifugal SC or a turbo. You stomp the gas and it's THERE.

the system i have has 39 lb ingectors and we changed the plugs. i am testing the 2.8 pully now and the boost comes on right now! pretty fun. i love the simplisity of this kit. almost everyone that sees it thinks it came from the factory it is that clean!
