As a few of you know, I ran over a screw a few weeks ago. The night that the tire sat on the rim cause a crack in the firewall. Since I have over 12,000 miles on car, it didn't make sense to buy a new stock tire, and it would've cost about $275 for decent rubber put on the back.... and those weren't even very good.

A few of you mentioned the Saleen website, and for $525, I could've gotten a set of GT bullit take-offs. Before I ordered, I decided to scour the classifieds. I finally found a set of the upgraded GT rims and wheels with only 1200 miles on them for $400!

The best part about it was the guy lives up in Denver, which is only an hour away! Since we were heading up there anyway for the cherry blossom festival, I arranged to pick them up today. They were on within an hour after I got home! :car-smiley-003:

I think he got it at RPM outlet like I did. As for the install.... everyone says it's pretty easy. I just showed my Dad the set up today and asked him if he'd be willing to help. Told him there are a few guys online who did the installation them selves (armycook,flapjack) plus it would save me about $800. He said if I really want to do it he'd help. It's kind of intimidating though

Not sure i like the tires. 20s are WAY TOO big INHO the rims are nice though. Lose the 20s dude

backlash 22s would make or turn the muscle car image into a non. As in non muscle if you look at older mustangs from the late 50s-60s-70s you will notice there were NOOO large wheels or rims for that matter. Keep it smaller around 17s or 18s to have the heritage of muscle the stang has. The ghetto wagons with the 20s and 22s are too non for me.

Those rims look sweet! I can't even tell that they are 20's!!! So many people putting 22's, 24's and 26's on these days that they make 20's look like 18's 19's LOL I remember when 20's were the shizzle. If you had 20's you were sellin drugs, LOL Or you had a good job & credit. Thats about 4,5 years ago when Jay-Z dropped "The Dynasty" album LOL HOV LOL
