Default Stripes on..well half :)

After trying to get someone to put on my stripes, and everyone saying no, I decided to nut up today and try to do it myself. Got my buddy over and we did the hood and front bumper. It's definetly a bia-bia! Anyone attempting this, soapy water makes it 10x easier...on my next day off i hope to finish, pics soon it's dark out, and i want to wait on pics till i get my painted lip back and on anyway

That's the good news, bad news is i had a parking lot fender bender with an SUV today. I was backing out and already straightning out and he back out at the same time right behind me...I hear a huge crunch then i cry "Oh ****!". I ended up backing into his side, amazingly no damage at all to my baby, thank god...somehow he got a big ol' dent in his door where we hit though. Long story short, cops came, noone was ticketed so each of us would've had to claim on our own insurence, I told him in leiu of him calling his insurence <and thus mine being called, because i wasn't claiming anything i wasn't calling> and making my rates go up, I offered to go half with him on the repair...which totals 400- from me. So i guess no c&l/ tuner this month

But hey-

ah shame about the ooopsie dude, but hey, look on the bright side, its not 400- for his repair AND 400- for ur repair

i also went to see my stripe guy and we have changed the design from 1 big stripe to 2 10 inch stripes as he thought it would be too much work to wrap the 5 angles on the GT front bumper

Oops! From what I've been hearing from other people our bumpers are really strong(also from personal experience[&:]). Hope the strips come out nice and not crooked.

That's why i couldn't believe, even with his car dented, not a stick of paint came off my bumper, and no dent at all.

I'm thinking about doing this too. How hard was it on a scale of 1-10? Would like to see some pics when you're done.
