grr some ones knocking in my enigne
yeah the topic reads correctlly... I noticed a werid either knocking or ticking sound coming from the front or bottom of the eninge tonight... it just started what ever it is... i had my mech friend come out and check it... yeah this late lol.... well im gonna baby it till friday and when my exhaust comes in .. im making a run to the post hobby shop(mech shop with lifts and tools) and get it up on the lift to do the exhaust and then if he can tell what it is with the s/c on but if not cause of the s/c noise were gona disconnect the charger from the system and go back to motor to hear it better... and then go from there... the way ive been driving is kinda beating on it below 45 and baby it above 50.
*** for the sound its not a loud knock or a tick its like a knick lol.. enigne runs the same***
ANy suggestion on what could be causing this noise?

YIKES!! Your scaring me man. Can't be the charger, hell better not be the charger I the same one sitting in my room! smaller PSI though bigger intercooler. flapjack's is running fine from what we all know. Hope its nothing serious man.

if it is a bent rod it will run very funny...believe me i have experience. It will run funny, not revving right, and then BOOM! If it does seem like its a bent rod, dont baby it, just DONT DRIVE IT! if it's bent you may snap it and snapped rods can make your block into swiss cheese. better safe than sorry, but it sounds like knocking to me, you should go get it retuned if it continues.

well i was told it would be running really werid .. the eninge would be shaking in the bay if i bent a rod or jacked a valve up... im woundering if it could be one of my pumps.. i think i kinda narrowed it further down to by the d/s lower intake manifold near front of eninge... but im not a mech ...
