Default RPM outlet

Heya, new guy here. Been reading these forums for quite some time, but never thought to post. I bought a 2006 silver v6 automatic back in feburary with the pony package and interior upgrade, as of late I've been thinking of adding some things to my car to help give it a better feel(no throttle pause etc.), thinking of installing a tuner to begin with. Then maybe some exhaust afterwords, nothing too extreme. I'm wondering, since RPMoutlet.com seems to be the most detailed and well stocked site ive seen, do they have a good reputation with prices and customer service?

They are hit or miss!!! For example, they were quick to ship out my parts a year ago when I got my AFE/Diablo combo from them (both are long since gone now). However, the so called AFE tune they had for my Diablo was complete mis-marketing BS, and I went round and round with thier tuner and had issues when I loaded the tune. I bought the AEM Wideband gauge from them and it took like 3 weeks to get it. Another thing, and this is just me being **** is thier mis-representation of the HP gains on thier combo packs, but oh well.

So, for just parts they are fine.

For tuning, I wouldn't let these guys tune my toaster.

They do have a very thorough site, though I have yet to purchase anything from them. If you are looking for a tuner you may want to try one of the following:
Doud @ Bamachips.com
Fred@ Evolution Performance (sweet deals on ebay)
Lidio @ Alternative Auto (Really good with Autos and featured in this months MM)
Brenspeed

All of these guys have CAI/Tuner combos and they are all pretty solid as far as customer service. Combo will run you between $550-600 depending on the place.

Exhaust- Listen to the sound files in the exhaust section then just find the best deal.

A good tune, cai and exhaust should add a good 25 hp to your base set up.

I personally have had lots of luck with them. I ordered hurst shifter, jba duals with h pipe, and some other minor things. stuff was well packed, price was good, shipping was fast, everying was there in 5 business days, which is very good considering it is from one coast to the other. they were very helpfull on the phone. these were true on all three shipments. I have had luck, but like most places they have good days and bad days i guess.

They've been great with getting the parts to me on time, though they are definitely a little mis-marketed. I fell for the AEM/Diablo package much like rygen, having it replaced with a C&L and SCT. As for logistics, they're very good at getting the parts in your hands, but I wouldn't let them tune much of anything, I'm running canned predator tunes right now.

I would not recomend them ..they sent me the wrong intake twice ...then the third time they did not refund me the price diference or the money i had to pay to send the items back. George and RPM outlet suck..i would never buy from them again.
