Vibration after MRT axel back install...
Is this just the result of the deep bass at low RPM's? I swear I tightened and retigned everyting up. Anyone else have this problem after installing the MRT Aero-Turbine axel back? It sure sounds like it's rattling alot back there.
And how much space should be between the tip and the rear bumper cover? I swear it's close enough that it'll melt it if I hit a big enough bump.
Could I have tightened it up too much? Thank you for any input!

YOu could put dynamats to stop rattling As for clearance i have mine less than 1/4 inch and it doesnt melt if you want to put a bat into the tail pipe and push down gently a few times and it should bend it down a bit

it shouldn't be rattling back there at all. I have some dash rattle now at like 2k rpms but that's it. No rattle back by the muff its self
as far as clearance goes. I'm thinking like a 1/4 inch would be best. I melted my bumper a bit when I first put it on because I didn't give it enough clearance.

I had a vibration at 1400 to 1500 rpms after installing my magnaflow duals, it went away after break-in on the mufflers, I just stayed out of that rpm range as much as possible, might be the same for you

Well at least I'm not as dumb as I thought. )
What did bending the hangers acomplish? I did think about needing some "break in" time.
And I will use a bat (I assume you mean a baseball bat), to try and bend it down a bit. Althought, maybe bending the hangers will do the same. I took it on about a 50 mile ride at highway seepds, and it didn't melt the bumper, but I still want to be safe.
Thanks again guys. When it comes to mods, I'm a complete novice, but love doing them! I guess it the sens of satidfaction.
Now if I can only change my own oil! LOL!

One more thing for anyone that wants to install this, make sure you have a jack and stands! Mine were stolen so I was crawwling and sline undet the car on the pavement. Not easy for a 6ft 300lb guy!
