Enjoy it like it is, finish school, get good grades, get a job and maybe you'll be able to buy your own mustang in a couple years.
and don't whine, your parents worked hard to be able to buy a new car, just be glad they might let you drive it if you act mature and don't screw up. sorry for the lectur, but after all I know how they feel.

Heh, I'm in the same situation you're in. When I got my Stang a year ago, I was like, "I'm going to be upgrading it soon." and my mom freaks out saying I'm not doing jack to it. Well, what she doesn't know, won't hurt her. 
I've waited a year, and I'm finally starting to upgrade her. Haha, go me. :O
