tuner/tune choices,gah
I need to get this bad.The more i drive, the more i want it!!
I have read everything i can find in here, but it doesnt settle me on this choice?
I found these guys>http://www.mustangtuning.com/sct-xcalibrator-2.htmlwhich write 1 "custom/canned?"tune for free according to the specs u give them, not just engine type, more than that-these are written by nick hurr,if i got the name right.anyone know it?
or,like some of these deals that will give you 3 tunes for free?but they are very canned.
I even called them, and they assure me the guy who writes them is very good.My hesitation isif it isnt that great,i have nothing to fall back on without buying another one(tune)which makes it not so good a deal then..cant decide, help
btw,im driving the2007 s197 v6,prefer 91 octane over 93 to cut gas expenses.thanks any input.maybe someone has tried these guys?ya.down the road i plan to get a dyno tune, but wanna be happy for now

I bought my C&L CAI and XCAL2 from Alternative Performance. I am running the 87 tune now and the difference is phenominal. The 89 tune is even cooler. No need to do a 93 tune since our V6 see very little performance increase from 93. Happy modding!

just got thru talking with them.sounds great but..they also also told me the codes for 2007 models arent available yet and the excal won't recognize my car.can anyone clear this up for me?I mean,i thought, browsing about i saw an excal somewhere or some other make that denoted it does cover 2007 model.
