So I had the windows tinted. $125 for all. Solargard tint, 5% on all rear windows and 13% on 2 fronts. Painted my calipers with DupliColor DE 1605 Ford Red, topped with DE 1636 Clear. Both are engine enamel spray paints with ceramic resins.

Looks good man, nice job on the calipers. What did the paint cost ya? Is that the same stuff that is in the duplicolor caliper kit or is it different? Did you take the calipers off to paint, if not what steps did you take to keep the overspray from gettin on your car? I have been debating of painting mine red also, and after seeing yours I think it looks great.

Looks very nice dude! im FINALY going to finish my calipers tommorow too!(if it dusnt rain for the 8th day straight) i took my car to ford and they used the master lock nut ket set to remove my locknuts so i can finaly take the wheels off... trouble is, so can everybody else!

Thanks man. I dont know what comes in the caliper kit, so I cant say if its the same stuff. I went to Napa and checked out the high temp paints, saw the DupliColor stuff and I thought I'd try it. I paid like 6 bucks a can for both the red and the clear. I put the car on the lift to get the calipers at about chest level(a little easier for me to paint them)and removed all four tires. To paint them, I first sprayed them with brake cleaner to take off all the grease and grime. I then used a brush and some soap & water to clean off anything else. While they were drying, I used newspaper, and old tshirts we use for shop rags to mask off everything I didnt want to paint. I taped a couple tshirts to the fenders to catch any overspray. I then sprayed a couple light coats on each of them, by the time I got around to the one I started on, it was ready for some more, so i worked around the car from there. I ended up putting about 4 or 5 coats of red, and a couple coats of clear. I left it on the lift for about 30 min(it was pretty hot in the shop, so they dried pretty quick). I let them dry for 24hours before washing the car.

Ill be ordering the Roush louvers soon, also the c&l intake, Borla duals, GT rear bumper, chin spoiler(dont know which one yet), mirror covers painted to match, rear honeycomb panel and some wheels(cant decide on 18's or 20's) the wheels I like are the Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dogs here , and when my warranty runs out, definately a super charger.

ROFL! Paul didnt you see himm post pics of his stang up above? Thats just a sig with a Gt and a Older stang. BTW Nice stang I really like the Painted Calipers. Oh and stick with the 18's that way its not to big itll be perfect.
