Ah ha! Now I get it... filling the Pony up with epoxy to embed the nylon screws is what I was missing.... VERY cleaver.... I guess I can get screws like this at Home Depot.... So, you keeping your GT grille, or going Eleanor.... ??

not sure, and yes home depot for everything. epoxy screws and nuts. even the crazy glue.
