Side note: you going to do the interior? Or is the first interior mod going to be throwing that McD's cup in the trash?

I didn't even notice the "rag" until you pointed that out. LOL!

im seein the best prices from other stang owners on these forums ($35-$45 for one). i called a few exhaust shops for quotes., they said they would have to get the muffler from the dealership and quoted me $120 for the part and installation!! thats ridiculous. i was also in a bidding war on ebay for a pair of 06 gt take offs and i got out bid by one dollar at the last second. i beleive the pair sold for $47 dollars and $20 shipping costs. or check out this site http://v6mustangstuff.com/TakeOffParts.htm. good luck

I recently put a single GT muffler on my car. My initial concern with changing mufflers was whether or not the GT muffler would give the engine the backpressure that it needs to run properly. However, I've been told this is not an issue. Even the people at the dealership didn't see any problem with this.
