Default GT muffler install

I have 2 GT-takeoff mufflers coming in the mail and was wondering if you can just bolt them (one) onto the V-6 exhuast? Has anyone had a shop fab-up a pipe to make the stock Y-pipe into a X-pipe?

yep, direct bolt on, i think u use all the stuff that comes off of the v6 muffler except 1 hanger. then just go to a muffler shop and have them fab an x pipe and run another pipe. they make their own hangers for the other muffler.

Me 2, i did the single "mini turbo muffler" for 135.
then i had anoother dun for another 225
then i had the gt take offs, another 200

cheaper than you but still wasted money... HELL at least u didnt blow 500 on a rear bumper that dusnt even match properly LOL!!! i got a body shop to do it before i got internet when i moved down here and got the mustang . it pays to know.

Are those GT Take off's from an Auto or a Manual?
I've heard that the Manual sounds better. This true?
