Default Choosing BTW 2 new mustangs

Hey all, this is my 1st post. I just finished university in April and am starting a new job in September and am getting a new 4.0L when work starts. I can't decide whether I want to custom order a 2007 or just get a 2006 off the lot. One I'm eyeing is a pretty good deal and has everything I want except side curtain airbags. Ordering one from Ford may take a while, I will end up paying a bit more...and who really cares about airbags anyway??? What do you guys think?

I agree. i have a 06 pony package and i love it. if you look at the 07's there really isnt much different. Just a couple things but you dont really need all that. so i say go with the 06

the differences are you have to pay to get TC/ABS like 700-800 dollars I am not sure what else it doesn't have but 06 Is the way to go IMO

If money is an issue, you can save serious money on a leftover later in the year (like Sept. or Oct.). I saved almost $7000 off a convertible that stickered at almost $31,000. You might not get exactly the options you want, but you will have money left over for tuner, etc. It's really all about how flexible you will be.

Side airbags can save your life; I think thats a pretty good reason to wait.
