Seat Belt Guide????

It is really getting annoying and also for the passengers who come in my car that they have to reach their arm really far back just to get the seat belt. Why isnt there a guide on the seat so the belt stays there, I know theres one on the bottom, but it doesnt really hold the belt. My brother's 04 has one , and without I wouldnt see how to operate, now I do. Is there a thing that someone makes that the head rest pole slides through that will rest on the seat while clamped to the headrest to hold the seat belt.

Does this exist on the convertible????

Hard to explain hope you guys got the basic gist of the post

I had a 96 Grand Prix coupe with the seatbelt mechanism on the door. Now that was sweet. I don't know why they stopped doing that. Maybe safety issues. I have short arms so it's difficult for me to reach in the backseat and grab the seatbelt. I don't like using the strap attached to the seat because I throw my bag in the back seat and the seatbelt gets in the way.

I know you can get the seat belt guide that attaches to the head rest for up to the '04. But I havn't seen any for the 05+.

The seat belt is quite a reach for me....I'm short and could use a little help!:D

RE: Seat Belt Guide????

I'd love to see a seat belt guide for the 05-07 mustangs. I pulled a muscle a few days back reaching for the belt. Took my nearly a week to get better.

Also, while we're on the subject, does it bug anyone else that pulling on the tilt lever on the back of the seats does not cause the seat to simultaneously slide forward?

Am I missing something here? Does the little seat belt retainer clip at the bottom of the seat not come on your cars. After first I thought maybe the verts didn't have it, but then remembered that my neighbors 07 GT vert has the clip. It works perfectly for me every time. I just snap the little strap around the seat belt, and the belt is always there at the edge of the seat waiting for me. You just have to learn to grab down for the belt with your left hand instead of grabbing up for it with your right. Let me know if I'm missing something here.

EDIT --> Is it that the V6 seats don't have the little retainer clip like the GTs?

You know, as stupid as it might sound, I've never noticed a seat belt clip. I'm gonna check that out after work, cause that would help a bunch.

But still, why doesn't that tilt lever slide the seat forward too? I hate two step processes!
