Could anyone please help me out with adding some aftermarket fog lights to my 2005 V6 convertible (and also maybe to my 1966 coupe)? I would prefer to put them on a toggle switch so as not to A)void the warranty and B)mess with low/high beam/running light wiring. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

so i have been asked alot about the v6 grill fog light wiring.
so here is one way and it should be hwy approved because when you turn on your high beams the fogs go out.
parts required are
2- bosch relays 12v 20/30A part# 0 332 204 150
some crimp on female spade connectors
14ga wire black and red
fuse holder w/fuse 15amp
small black coil wire cover
this way assumes you are using the gt switch. if using another togle or rocker switch all you need to do is hook the other post on the switch to the red and white wire on the stock switch. this way the lights can only be turned on when the headlights are also on. so you wont run down the bat if you leave the car.

some people are just getting the street scene harness plus the gt switch. this is a great option also. the only dif is install the harness per instuctions up to the switch install. at this point you would remove the old v6 switch. then cut the ss yellow wire at the connector. you would then tap into the factory harness like ss tels you except you would hook to the orange/lite green wire instaed of the red/white wire. the orange green wire is the actuall gt fog wire. after you hook to this plug the switch in pop it in the opening and your done. afew additional tricks. if you want the fogs to go off when the high beams are on look at the above diagrahm this shows how to add an additional relay to do this. also if you use the gt switch. the diagram showes adding a blue wire to make the led on the gt switch light when the fogs are on.
