Manual drivers use e-break? The only time I use it is to pull a 180. Do most manual drivers put it in neutral and use the e-brake?

P.S. Sorry for going off topic.

I had a rattling coming from the back left of my car for awhile when going ~140+(km/h). I stored it for the winter and it seemed to work itself out. Maybe it's just parts settling in?

Thats what all my friends that have manuals do because a manual doesnt have a park (and I what I did when I had a manual) .. so either you leave it in gear when you park and take the risk of having it slip out of gear and possibly roll away or you put it in neutral and pop the e brake..

Been driving manuals all my life, so has my dad, never heard of it "popping" out of gear. Maybe if you stopped in a different gear and switched to 1st or R, but I always switch down before I stop.

*EDIT* I always use e-brake and the gear when parking on a hill.

Yeah I used to just leave it in gear for awhile when I had my first manual and my dad taught me not to do that anymore so I stopped. But my friends got an 03 Mustang GT manual and its popped out of gear 2 or 3 times on her (in 2nd or 1st, not really sure but it wasnt anything really high.. she didnt coast to a stop then leave it in 5th or anything) and luckily both times we have been able to catch the car and stop it before it hit anything. Also heard of a couple other people I know having that problem.. One of them was a Jeep and it rolled forward into a BMW and the brush guard killed the hood of the beamer.

FYI I bench 230 ..... Looks are deceiving.

Thanks
What???????!!!!????!? I knew you were a dude all along!!!!

haha.. just messing with you.

I know the EXACT noise you're talking about. I have no idea what it is since it hasn't done it annoyingly enough for me to check and see what it is.
I know that doesn't help, but at least now you're not the only one with the funny vibration.

I had the same problem and found it was the internal emergency trunk release plastic handle had come lose from it’s Velcro and was dangling. When you are in motion it bangs on the inner trunk lid.
