Is it worth it? Seems like for otherwise stock cars, most of the benefits come from tweaking the automatic transmission.
I don't worry too much about horsepower numbers, but I do like to get pushed back in my seat a little for my money.

I'm stock with a stick and can burn all the way through first and squack it in second.

Though I'm sure that limited slip would put an end to that....

Not so, Evolutions tune increased HP and Trq. I don't have exact numbers because the car has never been dynoed. It was noticeable and trust me I've had several CAI's before and it wasn't. Also, if you are going FI don't both with the CAI, just get the SCT and tune. Most of the blowers will have there own intake set-up and use a tuner. You can have your tuner recalibrated for a tune with your blower at that point.
