I'm stock with a stick and can burn all the way through first and squack it in second.

I'm running Doug's (Bama Chips) 87 performance tune and can definatly feel the difference; better throttle response and more top end power.

Is it worth it? Seems like for otherwise stock cars, most of the benefits come from tweaking the automatic transmission.

I don't worry too much about horsepower numbers, but I do like to get pushed back in my seat a little for my money.

technically...anyone running a tune is running a tune on a 5-speed LOL. But, seriously there are alot of manaul drivers with tunes. I shall have one once i sell some stuff.

I'll see your second and raise you a third!

Though I'm sure that limited slip would put an end to that....

So you saying that if you have a Stick and you go with "for example" evolutions CAI and SCT CAL that your are not going to see a difference?

Not so, Evolutions tune increased HP and Trq. I don't have exact numbers because the car has never been dynoed. It was noticeable and trust me I've had several CAI's before and it wasn't. Also, if you are going FI don't both with the CAI, just get the SCT and tune. Most of the blowers will have there own intake set-up and use a tuner. You can have your tuner recalibrated for a tune with your blower at that point.
