According to the Motor Trend head to head test with our vert vs. the G6 vert we are faster in every category (by as much as almost 4 seconds! ie. 0-90 us 15.5 them 19.2) And we are almost two grand cheaper, not to mention our is 10x cooler!

Actually the Mustang has the advantage because I put a single Flowmaster on it. That should be good for an additional 20 HP. And I cut the weight of the Mustang by replacing the stock antenna with a shortie. lol.

Having raced my neighbor (when I was stock) I can tell you that the mustang is faster. From a light I pulled ahead prolly 3-4 cars and then walked away after about 80mph, due to the pontiacs 4 speed gearing. So mustang wins hands down.

i had a 2005 G6 GT and got rid of it after 8 months and bought the mustang. the G6 rode horrible, sounded like the front end was going to fall out and to me had no really good pick up. (MO). i will never again buy a FWD car - ever.
not to mention..i took a 3k loss on the G6 and it only had 3000 miles on it [:'(]
