Mustang V6 Auto vs G6 Pontiac V6 Auto
I have a 2006 GT Coupe with V6 and Auto. It feels faster than my 2006 Mustang Coupe with V6 and Auto. The Mustang is a 4.0 and the G6 is a 3.5. Also the G6 with 4,000 miles has an average MPG of 26 and the Mustang is barely over 20 MPG. On a trip to SC the G6 got 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. Just by the seat of my pants the G6 sure feels quicker than the Mustang. Does that sound right? I have not seen road tests of either car. The Mustang has the Pony Package, Upgraded Interior and single Flowmaster. The Mustang sounds better but the G6 feels faster. Talk amoung yourselves.

Maybe I will get my wife to race me with her driving the G6 and me driving the Mustang. Knowing her she will want to race me in her 2000 Corvette 6 speed convertible.

wow thats odd....i have a 6 mustang and my gf has a 2006 pontiac g6 V6 haha...i tried racing her once...and her car had me beat when i shifted to 2nd (she has auto i have stick) but after i dropped second to the floor it was all over....so im thinkin its in ur head.

hmm, wonder which is quicker? Maybe the one with more hp, more tq, less weight, and better gearing?
Actually, everything else is rather a negligble advantage, but the extra gear is a huge advantage.
