Charlotte (the Stang's name) has the MyColor option and is pretty much always set to an ice blue color. For the first time the other day, she got really low on gas and the entire gas guage turned red. Not just some little light going on, but the entire lighting of just that guage.

I almost can't wait for it to get low again so I can see it!

Can you get that installed after the fact? Do you know how much that costs?

While on the subject, is there a way to change the guage color from green to white?

If you have the MyColor option with the Interior Upgrade Package, then yes, you can change the gauges to any of 125 colors (check the manual to see to its done). However, the radio & HVAC controls will always be green. If you don't have MyColor, then you will learn to like the color green.

Also, I believe the gas gauge with MyColor only turns on/off red with the dash lights on.

yea, thats correct. Only when the headlights are on. And there was a previous post on this site about having it put in after the purchase of the car. I believe they siad it was about $200 because the entire gauge cluster has to be replaced. IMO its not worth it, I put mine to light blue and it never changes.

I change the color all the time. I like green, red and orange. Wife likes blue and red. We are always switching it around. Sometimes I even change it during a long drive.
