well your brake issue is that we have a small diameter front brakes that are worthless. if you have 17" rims. go purchase a GT caliper bracket, GT caliper, pads and rotor.. the whole thing is 1" larger than ours, and it makes a HUGE difference.. youll be stopping a lot quicker, and you can go ahead and buy EBS products.. (the green stuff ) lol that stuff is insane.. my friend has EBS pads on his car and the braking is insane!

Check the Saleen site about the GT take off brakes; you can get the whole thing, rotors, calipers and pads for really cheap.

I like the idea of getting GT take-off front brake parts to replace the V6 parts. But let's face it - his brakes worked well enough to lock the wheel(s) up. ABS is hard to retro-fit, but if he's got the OEM 16" BFG tires, then I would recommend a set of take-off 17" Bullits/P-Zeros.

Very sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad the damage was limited to the vehicles and not the passengers.

I have a pair of 18' 2007 bullits wheels that just came in 4 days ago, so that solves the wheel size problem. I am going to look at the GT take offs, and also Baer parts. I'm also going to pull the manager aside at the collision shop, who I casually know, and see if he will work with me on my deductible and possibly letting me search for cheaper part to allow for upgraded parts.

Bigger rotors only dissapate heat better, and thus reduce and brake fade. The problem is the pads..not the rotors. Buy some good pads and it'll stop much better.

Any suggestions on the pads?
