After 4 weeks and 3 days, my car is finally out of the shop and back in my driveway! Feels like having a new pony all over again, i'm too happy it's back!

The accident ruined my stripes and i opted not to have the shop put them back on, also i had to gfet a new front bumper anyway so I got a GT one put on, but i don't like the big fogs so the shop fit the v6 grille into it...i wish i could go out on a little cruise right now! Unfortunatley, responsability beckons...

Yay! I know the feeling, I'm getting my pony back today or tomorrow (most likely tomorrow) after 3 weeks and 3 days of being in the shop. I got her knew rims, tires, and sway bars. Can't wait to feel the difference.

ARGH!!!! I went to go pick her up on my lunch break, walk into the bodyshop and she's looking spec-fricken-tacular. They repainted the front bumper and it fits a lot more snug, the door dings are gone, and the rims and tires look SHARP! I love those fatty Nitto555s!

So I walk into the office ready for the bill, which was a measly $400. So I'm ready to go when I ask him, "everythings on there right? Sway bars and all?" And he goes "nooooooope. No sway bars.." OH F**K ME! What the hell!!!!

The manager tells me he never saw any sway bars! So he calls the guy that helped me take the sway bars, rims, and tires out of my 4runner. So Gene comes out and says... "they didn't put them on?" and the manager goes "I never saw any sway bars" then Gene says "I know where they are..." Apparently, the techs didn't put the sway bars on because it wasn't on the "tech" list. So instead of telling anyone, they just put the sway bars back into the storage room. Supposedly... that's their story.

So I'm on my lunch break, and now I have no car, no lunch, and no time. So they give me a ride back to work and tell me they'll have the sway bars on in 2 hours. [:@][:@][:@]

Hey at least everything else came out ok, Definetely post some pics when you get her, BTW what rims did you go with? and what size tires?

I just went with GT take-offs, the 17" alloy. What sucks is I bought 17" alloys from another place, but when DHL delivered them, they left them out on my driveway. So... someone stole them. So I bought another set of rims for another $400... Had I known I was about to spend $800 on rims, I would have gotten 18" fan blades!!!!!

In any case, I'm expecting a check from DHL for the rims they lost....

The tires are 255/45/17 Nitto555s, got em for $130 each. Not bad.

Just got her back! No rear sway bar, but they did put the front bar on. Not sure if it's the sway bars or my rims/tires, but it's very stiff now. I likey!

Gonna go back sometime later to get my rear sway bar put on.
