I didn't buy it to save money; I bought it to save my Stang from accumulating excessive mileage. I also wanted a car more appropriate for business use ie. taking clients to lunch, etc.

Honestly not to rain on the parade or anything but I have a question for everyone with a second car for a DD.
To do the calculations correctly you really have to do the math yourself because it will vary;
But, with the cost of insurance, upkeep, and the price of the car - do you really save in the end?

well beaustang since ur asking for honest opinions here...its a nice car dont get me wrong im just not a huge fan of the way they look. But it's all personal taste...but i do like your choice with the DD just the benz isnt my favorite car ever. I like the stang much better!!!

Thanks for the opinion; I agree that the Mustang is a much cooler and fun to drive car. The Benz is just for business and I chose it because of the quality not the looks, although I do like the style personally, I think it's a classic design.
Justice: I have heard the same thing about these cars, thats why I went with it. The dealer/garage I bought it from has a loaner there with over 500k miles on it with the original trans and engine with only a valve job and regular maint.
