Default something weird happened today

I had 6172 miles on my mustang when I dropped it off at the local dealership for an oil change. The sticker on the upper left hand window that they give you said that my next one should be at 6354 but I brought it in early. When I picked it up today the mileage was 6202. Does anyone know what happened? Did they actually go joyriding in my car? I just do not see that happening. But what happened?

Somewhere, Somehow, 20 miles were acrued. As far as i know, the only way that happens is if someone drove it 20 miles. If it were me Id be wondering who was driving my car for 20 miles. There isnt really much driving required to change the oil, maybe from the parking lot to the shop, then back to the parking lot, which might be about 1/100th of a mile.. or less lol definatly not 20 miles though.

Ever seen "Ferris Bueller's Day Off?" That's what they did with your Stang. Never go back.

I'd be asking some serious questions and contacting higher ups. This is how you get ford on your side by threatening action. Easy way to pick up some free service and or the look the other way if you ever do some mods.

i dunno. I know dealerships here wont allow cars off the lot unless its there specifically to go on a test drive.

i work at a ford dealership, and there is no reason after an oil change that they should take it out for a spin... though i know it is possible to have just snuck out with it.... that disgusts me, and btw, it is 30 miles! jesus... i would freak out... good thing i do all of my own work... that sucks bud

that is just totally wrong i would never go back there
its really sad that you didnt do something when you were there
now there is nothing you can do but learn from this and change your oil yourself
