My 2006 Pony came with the 235 and 17 combination standard. According to the sticker on the door: 32 all the way around the car.

What wheel size/tire do you run?

I have mine at 32 psi (30 on the rears/35 on the front when I go to the track). I tried them all at 35 psi for awhile... thought it would help improve mileage. But, it handled so poorly... easily breaking loose around corners and casual launches... dropped them back down to 32 and been very happy. Oh, I didn't really notice a mileage difference anyways.

On my fox I run mine at 43 front and 38 rear. I have so little sidewall it makes no difference if I run em at 30 or 40, other than ride comfort. I prefer to have em a little higher cuz it takes pot holes better.

RE: 235 tire pressure?
Open the drivers side door. Look on the door jamb. There is a sticker that tells you what FORD recommends tire pressure should be at. I ran 35 p.s.i. but to stiff too much bounce, tried 28 p.s.i. too soft, between 30 and 32 is what the car responded to best. I would start from MFG. setting and go from there. The pressure reading on the side wall is for max safe op pressure set by tire mfgr. seeing they are putting these tires on all sorts of vehicles, they need to cover their butts. So go with FORDS specs is safest bet, also check pressure when the tires are cold and fill them when cold ok, thats when true readings exists. The tires get hot after driving them for a few minutes and press. changes.
My two cents!
