4.0 v6 engine is below average
I just read this in car and driver. Said the v6, as far as engine reliability, is below average. Does this mean my car is going to break down in a year or 2? I am a bit nervous

I drive the snot out of my stang, and feel confident in the motors capabilities...don't worry about what idiots say. A lot of people feel it is imperitive to dump on Ford products. You bought a great car!!!!!!!!

I've read lots of reviews on the sixxer before I bought one. Most rated it average in the reliability category. Nothing new though, the Mustang is doomed to be ranked bad in reliability. I guess it's due to Ford's previous track records with the barrage of bad mechanical cars they made in the 60s 70s and 80s (Pinto anybody?)
