You have my father's favorite stang. He would have killed to have that model Mach 1.

You're probably old enough to be my father, huh? [8D]

I have a 22 year old daughter, but that's all i'm gonna say about that.

I always liked the 71-73's I draged this one out of a barn from it's orignal owner-th etitle is still in his name-it has 65k original on it but rodents lived in the interior for 18 years plus he sand blasted the chassi and lower portion of the body to stop rust, then painted it tractor grey. anyways I practly have a new car with all the parts in my basement.

Hers what it looked like when I drug it out of the barn-its one of 35 with saddle bronze paint and a white interior, it came with the 351 2bbl ram air, auto no air, comp suspension and original down to the heat sheilds on the exhaust.

Don't be too hard on yourself or the car here. It must have been a really hot and humid day. What is the altitude of the track? How many runs did you do? Did you give the car a chance to cool off before that run?

The comaprison to the SS Camaro helps alot. It shows that the track was slow, not necessarily your car. Your 60' times are kinda weak considering that you have 3.73s and T-loc with drag radials (even if they are nittos LOL).....that is not a shot at you and I certainly don't mean any offence, the Camaro's short time is poor as well. That tells me that the track was not well prepped and/or very hot. If the track was well prepped and the weather was good, you both should have been at least a half second or more faster. For example, even with a poor driver and bone stock, that camaro should still easily throw down 13s so you should easily be in the 14s on a good day.

Don't give up yet

it was hot, this track dosen't hook very well anyways My major point is that the SCT2 slows me down by 2 tenths and it should give me 2 tenths. As in, with the microtuner, no t-loc or headers I ran a 15.15 on 87, the same day with the SCT2/C&L 15.3. Tomorrow I will go back with the micro tuner and S&B, and see what I get with the mods and micro combo.

Right, an LS1 shouldn't be running 14s.. I'd expect that from an LT1.
