Chip
I've got the dreaded chips in my paint from road driving. Also have a very lite door mark from a old coot that parked to close and hit my door. Does anyone know where to get a touch up kit and how well do they work? The ones on the hood will get covered in a couple of yrs when I get my Stripes put on, but till then. Thanks for the help.

RE: Chip
I got a little vial of touch up paint from my dealership's parts center. They'll ask for the color code from a sticker inside your driver side door (I've forgotten my code, but it will be something simple like "P2"... it'll be obvious enough on the sticker though). In my case, an '06 Windveil Blue, the paint they gave me matches to near, sheer perfection. I've used it on a couple of very similar sounding chips (very tiny ones).
Some auto parts stores also sell kits to use in conjunction with your matching touch-up paint to help avoid bumps, etc. in your finished touch-up work. I've never tried that yet, but would consider it for a job larger than a tiny chip.

Dealership or www.paintscratch.com
Dealership can get motorcraft lacquer. small bottle with brush application. Give vin # and color code.
Paintscratch should be able to match almost exactly, but ask first to verify.
