"Air Silencer"
I have read in a Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine that the GT has a "air silencer" in the air intake. If it is removed there is an increase in horsepower. I was wondering if anywone knew if our sixers have one and if anyone still has the stock airintake that has taken this out.

Okay good that seems right because the article was when the 05' mustangs just came out and it was about how to get you're GT to run 12's easy. I looked all throughout my airintake and couldn't find one. Kinda dissappointed me I thought I was gonna get a extra 2 horsepower. Oh well I wanna get the C&L anyways. Thanks for the info.
