Default Planning a trip

Ok so later this month I'm planning a road trip from Virginia back home to Arkansas. Since I haven't had my Mustang but a few weeks I was wondering how many miles I can expect on a tank of gas, that way I can plan my stops. I have been having so much fun driving that I really haven't figured my mileage or how many miles I've been going between fill ups.

if ur driving normal speed like 65-70 to be safe id say 400, but u might be able to get around 450+ since its all highway, i know that when i drive highway the litte gauge in the car says i get like 30-32 mpg

You have a 16 gallon tank, depending on how fast you drive, but lets go with 21 mpg highway, your talkin about 336 miles to a tank.

LOL That is another reason I asked I've been having to much fun and haven't really been able to get a mileage estimate for a long mostly interstate drive.

Dude, the computers are never very accurate for gas mileage.
They average out, and its just not accurate.
My mom's GMC Yukon is always way off.
Just do it the old fasioned way...
Check your odometer and divide by 16...

250 to 300? geez lol
When i drive to san fransisco, i fill up here in phoenix, then in LA, then when i get to san fran.

easy easy 400miles to 1 tank, ive done over 470 before i filled up (still had almost a gallon left, got 31.8mpg on that tank).

I wish I could get that. With stop and go traffic all the time in Hawaii, I'm getting about 22 mpg. Which I guess isn't too bad.
