So what's the proper technique? Do you wear your walking shoes when you're walking to the car, and then take them off in the car and put on the driving shoes?? Kind of like Mr. Rogers when he changes shoes and puts on the zip-up sweater when he sings and asks, "Won't you be my neighbor?"

I just want to get the technique right, because I don't want to look like a fool.

Wow.. this'll be tough when I go golfing. I'll wear the walking shoes to the car, switch to the driving shoes so I feel the pedals better and drive faster to the course, and then finally switch to the golfing shoes...oh wait, should I switch back to driving shoes in the golf cart?
At some point in that process, you have to remember to adjust your silk scarf so it flows in the breeze just right, remember to switch from your walking to driving to golfing sunglasses (or racing goggles if you're really cool), and also remember to take off your golf glove and put on your driving golf gloves (not your REAL driving gloves) when driving your golf cart to your next shot (and of course you remembered to switch from your golf shoes to your golf cart driving shoes, too, right?

Just out of curiousity...does it make a difference which driving shoes to wear, depending on whether you drive a GT or a V6? Or is it just a color change, like solid dark colors -vs- pastels and prints, or waffle print soles -vs- dimples?

All in fun.

You know you're a rice boy if you have driving shoes....and an automatic...
You're a ricer if you heel and toe an automatic...
Or if your automatic has a shift light...
