Default 2006 GT vs. Civic SI

Just cruious, I have a 2006 GT with a Diablo chip. It pushes bout 330 H.P. and in a day or so will have a K&N intake system on it and it should bet about 12-15 more H.P. My son has a P.O.S. 2000 Honda Civic SI with an upgraded motor and turbo he thinks is tough. I have no doubt I will beat him as I have drove both cars. Any comments anyone??

Well, you said it all. You drove both. You'd kill a stock Si... even if you were rolling down a hill in neutral. But why are you posting thing is the V6 section?

In the wrong section by mistake. the SI runs pretty good once the Turbo kicks in, but curious if anyone had done this.

It's a turbo Si. Mid 15 car stock, i'm guessing mid-low 14's w/ turbo. Prolly be a decent race, especially if it's an auto GT, still i'd guess the GT will win.

And yeah, this is a weird section for this question.

No problem. I haven't lined up against a Honda, much less a turbocharged one.

Race 'em, tape it, and post it!

Right, and I'm not even going to pretend I know what it will do with a turbo. Girlfriend has a stock 2002 Civic Si and THAT'S a 16 second car, I'd think the pre-2002s are slower?

The 99-00 Si is actually a bit faster then the 2002-2005 Si's. The average stock times for the 2002-2005's <ep3> were like 15.7-15.8 while the 99-00's were 15.4-15.5.

Yes, Hondata makes three different applications for their ECU's. If it's turboed i'm guessing he has one of them for fuel management.
