I've always been curious about the 70mm TB, especially since I'm FI. I've just heard too many bad things about it (ie: snake oil).

flapjack--what bad things have you heard about it? ive only had one problem with it...when I reflashed my ecu back to 87 octane stock, the TPS detected that I didnt adjust the Throttle Body at the right position...soo naturaly the TB did not respond to my pedal. Kinda scared me at first then came to realization as of what I did wrong. Definately a power adder no problems besides that MORE air in...in the future with headers and an exhaust MORE air out. Key equasion to equal hp. With the TB spacer, intake, and Throttle Body...RPM's stay high its not as tight as the stock setup it feels way more free revving. When I reved it up infront of a few guys with 4.0 stangs they definately noticed the differance given that my rev limiter was off as well. Ive been working on cars all my life...im supprized with the differance a few bolt on's have done to this car. Regardless...its not a 4.6L its a 4.0L it looks good and it realy moves if you know how to drive it right, Im shooting for high 13's just with bolt on's no Nitros and keeping it Naturaly Asperated. With the performace ive gotten out of it, it makes a great track car I cant wait until I start with the suspension.

Lol...i was willing to suspend my doubt with the 300c because it's auto and he's manual and maybe he cought it ehile the tranny downshifted, but the Evo story is out there. Especially that he said he beat it from a dig yet lost from a roll. The Evo is 10x stronger from a dig then from a roll

You and an Evo would be a good race though, love to see that from a dig.

I am not sure it can be done with just bolt ons, but am sure it can be done N/A with just a little bit of work. Good goal though... let me know how it goes

hmmm... ok... just looked up the specs on the EVO... it's mid-13 second car... There is no way it should lose to a S197 V6 that doesn't havea power adder... even if he dubbed the launch he's going ot run you down in the 1/4!!! LOL!

Of course now we'll hear about witnesses and stuff... My reply as always... TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!! WERE IT BELONGS!!! Give us some timeslips at least... video is preferable!!! LOL!
