Default Kids and Mustangs

Well this is gonna really only apply to the guys that have kids, but do any of you buy mustang toys for yourself and say they are for your kids, lol. I was at walmart and i saw the $12 mustang remote control cars, so i bought 2. So my son and i have been racing all around the house with them. Thats not the only mustang thing he has, he has 05 gt car that turns into a playset, and numerous mustangs all over the house. Its funny, he always points mustangs out to the family when we are on the road. I think they are getting sick of it, haha. You know though " like father like son!"

I bought myself a Mustang toy before I even got my Mustang. WalMart was clearing out these Transformers that were based on licensed cars. I picked up a 2005 Mustang GT for myself and friend asked me to pick him up an S2000. A few months later he bought a real S2000, and now I have a real 2006 Mustang

I bought my daughter a mustang horse, we can't ride it yet, but I clean up after it . I keep all the toys unless I get two of them.

lol.... My fiance's kid had his 11th Birthday recently and I bought him a '67 Shelby GT500 model. Of course I bought it so he could continue to develop his focus, ability to follow instructions and his eye-hand coordination. It was just coincidence that its color is nearly identical to my own 'stang.

I buy Mustang toys for myself even though I have a 19 month old daughter. I buy the die-cast cars that look accurate to scale. I'm trying to teach my little girl how to say Mustang. Right now, if I say Mustang, she points towards the garage! It's cute.

All the time. I collected hot wheels and matchbox cars as a kid, and when my son was born, he started doing the same. Presently, our collection has over 8500 cars, and is appraised at over $16,500. Not too shabby for cheap little cars that we all used to blow up and beat with hammers, etc as kids. And yes, there is a Mustang collection, too, ranging from one of the original Lesney Matchbox Mustangs (a 65 or 66 - hard to tell) with a small lever on the side that steers the front wheels, to all the latest diecast and plastic models.

Now if only I could have afforded to keep all the "real" Mustangs I've had. []
