Default RE: MPG on a V6 Mustang

I've noticed some differences in my MPG depending on the gas I use:

Citgo - 21/27mpg city/hwy
Hess - 18/24
Mobil - 21/30
BP - 25/31
Sunoco - 25/33

I typically drive around 40mph city and 70-75 highway...basically hover around 2000rpm

I shift out of first and second gear around 2500, the rest around 2000

I may be crazy, but I've also noticed that if I switch my gas brand every couple of weeks my mileage will be better at first...I'll do this from almost an empty tank

How in the world do you guys shift at 2000 RPMS Maybe it's my age.. I'm 24 and I don't shift below 3000 RPM. I like to accelerate and I found when I shift at 2000 RPM I'm watching all the buicks, tacomas, and civics pass me by. Heck, even the autos shift around 2500. Ah I suppose it's in the name of good gas mileage. But I'd feel embarassed accelerating off the stoplight in a mustang at the pace of an old lady

I usually get at leaste 19 mpg. My driving style changing very often, one day i fell like taking off slow and others i feel overly aggressive. All the same it never drops below that. Try reseting it every once in a while too, seems to be more accurate that way.

this is a topic I like http://fueleconomy.gov Im averageing out 22hwy right now and that was on 92 octane performance tune.
Dude I'm calling you out on this one....where the hell do you find 92 octane gas in Cali? The highest is 91 at most place and 92 is hard as ***k to find. I doubt you are running a 92 tune. Once again a lie!

Infinion raceway is about 5 miles away from here. I can go get 100-120 leaded or unleaded. But why I can just mix my own additives. Its alot cheaper. You can get more octane by mixing your gas.
